You Can Africa is focused on opportunity creation and poverty alleviation in rural Africa. Most of our projects focus on education, health and enterprise. We have an ‘opportunity not aid’ mindset, so believing in people is core, hence our ‘teach a man or woman to fish’ logo. Our current country focus is Uganda and Ghana.

We have our own short and long term projects in Uganda & Ghana, we have current joint venture projects with a housing provision charity (‘I AM’) in Uganda and we support our long term partner ‘Village by Village’ in Ghana, who are a registered UK charity. We have an in-country coordinator in Uganda plus have a small projects manager in Ghana. Village by Village operate various projects on the ground in Ghana. See more in About Us.
